- Do not turn on power without getting teacher permission
- Do not work on live circuits or equipment
- Double check the connection of all equipment. you could damage expensive equipment.
- Regard all equipment as being alive until testing proves otherwise
- Double check the supply voltage to see that it matches the equipment requirements.
- Never use any of the human senses to test for electricity. There are meters made for this purpose.
- Electricity flow more easily when objects are wet. Avoid contact with electrical equipment when you are wet.
- Electricity has caused many injuries and deaths. Mainly through carelessness.
- RESPECT IT, BUT DO NOT BE AFRAID OF IT.
- USE IT, BUT DO NOT ABUSE IT.
- When in doubt about anything, ASK FOR HELP
- In case of Electrical Shock, if breathing has stopped, start artificial respiration immediately. Tell the teacher, & possibly the office.
